Naptown: Good Charlotte got reinforcement: Chris Wilson is the fifth man at the currently most popular US-Newcomerband! The punkrockers Benji and Joel Madden, Paul Thomas and Billy Martin were so ardently of Chris playin the drums, that they took him into the band! Before him there was Aaron and Dusty, who only played at live-gigs. "We know him from the band The Used" says Paul. Chris, who played since 1998 in his hometown salt lake city in the band ECO, is a friend of The Used's Bert McCracken, ex-boyfriend of Kelly Osbourne.

"Bert knew, that we were searching for a good drummer, and connected us" laughs Chris. "Our first meeting was at a 7-Eleven-Supermarket in Utah" says Benji grinning. Then they went to the tourbus, and were jamming! What Benji & Co. impressed: As a Good Charlotte-Fan he knew all their songs! Not even 24 hours later, he was with them on stage at the Warped Tour 2002 in Chicago. But in interviews and on photos he had to stay in the background, because the boys wanted to be sure, they picked up the right one!..... Now Chris is an offical member, who you can see for the first time in the upcoming Anthem-Video (I think they'll release The Anthem after g&b in europe)

And he not only fits musically into band: Chris loves, like Benji, videogames, and he likes tattoos, too! He is the silent pole, so this part of Good Charlotte is filled, too...
